NFT Arena is a decentralized project developed by the Metalayer Foundation, all assets are fully owned by the user community, the code will be rendered available on an MIT open source license.
Game currency
METAL are the utility tokens of the Metalayer ecosystem, and have various use cases, one of which is as the in-game currency of NFT Arena, used to buy cards in the market, to add a wager against others in tournament mode, or to pay fees for select operations, like bridging NFTs to different chain.

Whimsy Games is a top rated game development & art studio, partnering with the Metalayer Foundation for the development of NFT Arena (and beyond).
Powered by Ethereum
The first deployment of NFT Arena will be on Ethereum exclusively, but we will soon thereafter expand to a multi-chain architecture.
